The composer is the whole interface. Skip the warm-up — ask the question you actually have, with a ticker and a timeframe:
Walk me through NVDA’s last quarter — what beat, what missed, and how did guidance move?
Compare the operating margins of the top five semiconductor names over the last three years.
Answers take longer than a general chatbot’s. The analyst is fetching data, computing, and often charting before it writes — the Sources panel fills in live while it works.
Three analysts sit in the composer’s selector. Dave is the default: deep reasoning with live data tools, 1 credit per answer. Sam is the second opinion: cross-checks and native PDF/image reading, 20 credits per answer. Deb handles long-context deep dives — big documents, extended work — also 20 credits. Start with Dave. The send button becomes a stop button during generation. Stopping halts the run server-side; whatever was already written stays in the chat. On the last answer you can regenerate — earlier versions are kept, with a pager to flip between them.
Follow-ups inherit the session’s context — “now do the same for AMD” works. Upload filings with the + button, ask for a chart, or ask for a table as a downloadable sheet. When a chat runs long, the context meter at the bottom of the sidebar shows how full the conversation is; start a new chat for a new topic.
