Documents & uploads

Attach files with the + button in the composer, or paste — a screenshot on your clipboard pastes straight in. Pasting is not gated by analyst: paste an image while Dave is selected and he’ll say he can’t read it — switch to Sam or Deb and ask again. Then ask against them the way you’d hand a document to an analyst: “from this 10-K, what changed in segment reporting?”

What types are supported?

PDF, CSV, TXT, Markdown, and XLSX with every analyst. JPEG and PNG attach when an analyst with document vision — Sam or Deb — is selected; they read documents and images natively, while Dave works from extracted text. See Analysts.

What are the limits?

When a document exceeds the cap, the cut is visibly marked in what the analyst reads — it will know, and tell you, that the file continues beyond it. For very long filings: scope the question (“the risk factors section”) or split the document.

Multiple files at once

Attach several documents to one message — a set of quarterlies, or a filing plus your own notes — and ask across them. If the per-message budget runs out, skipped files are flagged, not silently dropped.

What happens to my files?

Uploads are stored with your account so the conversation can keep referring to them; extracted text is cached so re-reads are fast. Data use and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy, with the plain-language version in the Trust & Privacy FAQ. You can delete conversations in Settings, or request full account deletion by email.
