Changelog

What changed, in plain language, newest first. Feature behavior is documented on the evergreen pages; this page carries the dates.

2026-07-22 — The composer, explained

A buried function is as good as not shipped. The Guide gains a composer page covering every control in the input row — including the / menu with /memo and /sheet, the analyst icons, and the keyboard shortcuts — plus a straight walkthrough of getting a PDF or Excel file out and how chat sharing works. Image uploads now follow the analyst’s document-vision capability, so Deb accepts images like Sam.

2026-07-22 — The Guide

Finding out what Quantesta can do shouldn’t require trial and error. This Guide ships as the answer: how answers are produced, how to ask well, what every feature does, and a straight page on where the numbers come from. Reach it any time from Guide in the sidebar.

2026-07-20 — Deb, a third analyst

Some work is simply big: sprawling filings, many documents at once, long-running threads. Deb joins Dave and Sam for long-context deep dives, with native document vision, at 20 credits per answer. Details in Analysts.

2026-07-20 — Chart annotations that land where they aim

Event markers and reference lines on charts now snap to plotted bars, and indicator levels target the pane they belong to — so annotations appear where the analysis meant them, including on older charts when revisited.
