Long uploads are no longer clipped at 100,000 extracted characters per file or skipped after 200,000 characters across one message. Dave, Sam, and Deb now all receive the complete available text extracted from PDF, CSV, TXT, Markdown, and XLSX files. Deb additionally keeps native vision for separately attached JPEG and PNG images. The complete request still has to fit Quantesta’s context boundary; if it does not, the turn is refused clearly rather than an attachment being silently cut. Details in Documents & uploads.
Long analytical chats now give progressive context guidance: Plan ahead at 60%, Near limit at 80%, and Limit reached at Quantesta’s 980,000-token operational boundary. The meter now starts each turn from the latest completed provider measurement and reconciles when the answer finishes. If context fills during an answer, Quantesta stops requesting more data and makes one final writing pass from what it already gathered. The completed answer remains intact; a later turn that cannot fit gets a clear in-thread explanation instead of a generic rendering error. Details are in Sessions.
The composer’s Skills button became Cmd: one command surface in two groups — Functions (the system functions /memo and /sheet) and Skills (your skills, the starters, and skill creation) — the same entries as the / menu. Details on the composer page.
Sam runs on a new engine. Two visible changes: his reasoning pane now shows the full working process as it happens (previously a summary), and he works from extracted text like Dave — image files no longer attach with Sam selected. Image vision lives with Deb. Sam’s price drops with the change: 10 credits per answer, was 20. Details on Analysts.
A buried function is as good as not shipped. The Guide gains a composer page covering every control in the input row — including the / menu with /memo and /sheet, the analyst icons, and the keyboard shortcuts — plus a straight walkthrough of getting a PDF or Excel file out and how chat sharing works. Image uploads now follow the analyst’s image-vision capability.

Event markers and reference lines on charts now snap to plotted bars, and indicator levels target the pane they belong to — so annotations appear where the analysis meant them, including on older charts when revisited.
